House (Recreational) League
KMGSA operates a recreational softball program for girls age 7-19 and offers 6 different age divisions. Teams in a division play twice a week starting the week of May 13th (weather permitting) with all teams from U9 to U17/U21 moving on to the year end tournament in early July to determine the division championship.
Please read the information below and to register for the 2024 House League Season.
LTP - Monday Nights 6:30pm at Alpine Public School runs May 13, 2024 - June 24, 2024
U9 - Tues/Thurs, 6:30pm at Westheights P.S. and Queensmount P.S. runs May 13 - End of July
U11 - Mon/Wed, 6:30pm at Queensmount P.S, Queen Elizabeth P.S. and East Forest Park runs May 13 - End of July
U13 - Tues/Thurs, 6:30pm Locations East Forest Park and Rittrenhouse
U15 - Mon/Wed , 6:30pm/8:30pm at Bridgeport Sports Fields Diamonds # 2 and #3
U17/U21 Merged - Tues/Thurs at Bridgeport Sports Fields Diamonds # 2 and #3
- Team meet and greet and photos - May 4th and 5th at the Klassics Turfhouse.
- Kick Off Weekend May 11th - Take part in drills and skills get ready for thew season. Location TBD.
- Year End Tournament: July 12th - 14th for U13, U15 and Merged Divisions

Same player requests
We are always striving to create the best possible House League Season for all players, while keeping in mind the importance of friendships. This is a great time for your girls to meet and create new friendships. We will be accepting same player requests.
We must receive requests from both players.
Please email [email protected] with the subject "Same Player Request". Be sure to include the player name and division in the email.
The deadline for submitting same player requests is April 12, 2024.
E-transfer instructions.
If you are paying by e-transfer when checking out for your registration select Cash/Cheque payment option. Then send your e-transfer to [email protected] using the password kmgsa1. Be sure to include the players name and age division.

Every year we are always in need of coaches, assistant coaches and umpires to provide the best experience for our athletes. We always try our best to ensure there is an umpire at all games, however in recent years it has become increasingly difficult to find individuals interested in umpiring. Player Equipment
Learn To Play -
Players from Learn To Play through U21 are to provide their own glove & helmet (with metal face cage). Fielding masks are optional, except for pitchers in which they are required.
Due to safety and health issues there is to be no sharing of helmets permitted. Players can choose to wear cleats but there are no metal cleats allowed at any age division.
Player can use their own bats but they must be certified for softball except U9 who can use t-ball bats. KMGSA recommends the following bat sizes based on age division of the player.
- U9 - <26inch x 12-15oz (t-ball bats)
- U11 - 26-28 inch x 15-17oz
- U13 - 28-31 inch x 16-19oz
- U15 - 31-33 inch x 17-21oz
- U17 - 32-34 inch x 19-23oz
- U21 - 33-34 inch x 21-26 oz
Player refunds before April 15th, will be charged a $25 administrative fee. There will be no refunds after April 15th, except for medical reasons. Refunds for medical reasons will be pro-rated.
