The KMGSA/KSA Young Umpires Program was made possible by a legacy grant from the KSA.  The intent of the program is for KMGSA to build a bench of young umpires to ensure our House League games have proper officiating, and to help our young players learn more about the sport and stay involved.

This program will cover the cost of the umpire training program (Junior or Level 1) through Softball Ontario.  KMGSA will provide he equipment for umpire and pay them for their work on the diamond.  We ask that you give us 2 seasons of your time, paid of course.  Our hope is that we will grow our umpire base and build the knowledge and skill of the sport with our young players.
