And That's A Wrap

Thank you for another fantastic KMGSA House League Season! We couldn’t do it without the time, effort, and dedication of our incredible volunteers. We’re so grateful to our coaches, umpires, and families – your support makes all the difference.

Share Your Thoughts

In the coming weeks, we’ll be sending out a survey to all our House League families. Please take a few minutes to complete it – your feedback plays a key role in shaping our plans for next season.

What's Next

Our next big event will be Rep and Select Tryouts for the 2026 season. Details on both divisions can be found on our website. Tryout dates and coaching announcements will be shared in the last week of August, as governed by PWSA. If you're interested, keep an eye on our Instagram and website for updates.

Winter Training Opportunities

We’ve heard you! Many of you asked for more off-season training, especially for our young pitchers. We’re working hard to make that happen this winter, with limited spots available. Pitchers must bring a parent to catch for them — this helps them learn and develop together at home.

We’ll also be running:

  • Fundamental Skills Programs
  • Free Clinics to keep players active and improving

These programs will be available to all House League players — details will be posted on our website after September 1.

Register Early and Save

House League registration for next season will open this fall. Families who register before December 31 will lock in last year’s pricing, despite rising diamond costs. Don’t miss your chance to save!

Umpire Clinics

This winter, we’re launching:

  • House League Umpire Clinic for girls who want to learn to ump. After completing the course, participants will be eligible to ump KMGSA and WMGSA games — a perfect summer job for players!
  • An official KWUA Umpire Clinic, for those wanting to register with Softball Ontario and umpire at the Rep level (and earn even more!).

Volunteers Needed - September

The tryout period in early September is busy, and we need volunteers to help with:

  • Running stations (softball knowledge helpful!)
  • Manning registration desks
  • Answering questions and directing families

Can you help between 6–10 PM during the first week of September?
Email heidi@kmgsa.com or click the "I CAN HELP" button on our website to get involved.

Equipment Donations Needed

We are currently looking for the following items:

  • Leaf blower
  • Catcher’s gear (any size)
  • Softball gloves
  • Large bulletin board
  • Large equipment bags (hockey bag size)

THANK YOU!!!!!

Thank you again for a great season — and we hope to see you and your athletes over the winter!
