House League Update!

Hello parents, we are finalizing details on teams and schedules for the House League season.  As registration comes to a close, our House League Convenor and VP will be sorting out all the players into teams, assigning coaches and reaching out with details in the next 10 days.  

Season will start the middle of May,  but before that happens, we need all coaches and dedicated parents to come to the Turf House on Sunday May 4 between 10 and 12:00 for guidelines and coaching tips for the season.  This clinic is imperative for the growth and development of every girl in the program.  Our head of Player Development , Kenzie McMahon, is going to review drills, skills and fundamentals so that we as adults, can help coach and teach our players in a way that does not contradict the goals of our coaches and our program.  Sign up is on the website.. or you can send me an email at  heidi@kmgsa.com

All coaches are expected to attend if they can.  This is to ensure that you have the tools and the updated fundamentals that you need to know to help your players/daughters improve.

We really encourage parents to sign up as well.  You can’t help your player if you do not know what they are supposed to be doing, and how to do it!  So come on out and learn something new!  We promise it will be fun and informative and will get you ready for season too!

And one more thing…

We are going to be running free clinics for your girls at the Turf House in the late May and early June so they can get some extra training on things that matters to their success such as pitching, catching, hitting, and positional play.   We will post details on the KMGSA website to finalize which day will focus on which skill, so please stay tuned!   Keep the following dates in mind: 

Wed May 28…  6 to 7:30   U9 and U13 batting

Thurs May 29… 6 to 7:30  U11and U15 batting

Sat May 31… 10:00 to noon   U9 and U13 pitching

Tue June 3… 6 to 7:30   U11 and U15 fielding and infield play

Thurs June 5… 6 to 7:30   U11 and U15 pitching

Sat June 14… 10:00 to noon   U9 and U11 and U13 extra help.
