Introduction to Softball for girls aged 4 to 7

The KMGSA Learn-To-Play (LTP) program is designed to be a young girls introduction to the sport of softball. The emphasis is on Fun, Action and most importantly a Positivity. The program is geared for girls aged 5-6 with maximum opportunities to practice the skills needed to successfully take part in competition softball as they get older.

The Learn-To-Play program allows children of all skill levels to achieve the same number of skills repetitions during the training sessions. The drills also offer a high success rate for every child, which improves every player`s self confidence. As the skill levels progress the girls are introduced to quick mini games in which emphasis is placed on team work and having fun.

Experienced softball instructors will guide the players through exercises, skills and games.

The cost for the 2023 season will be $50 for the Learn to Play Program.  Registration is now open.  Spaces are limited register early to avoid missing out.

* A parent is required to be on the field with their daughter at times as the program is also geared towards instructing the parents so that when practicing with their daughter they can instill the proper techniques.

This program is once a week on Mondays and runs for one hour (6:30 - 7:30pm).
