About
Since 1966 KMGSA has been a community-run volunteer association dedicated to providing exciting opportunities for young girls to play a sport with action, strategy and teamwork. KMGSA is affiliated with the City of Kitchener and works to improve girls health while teaching them a great sport and making friendships that will last a lifetime. In 2011 there were over 500 girls between the ages of 6 and 18 that participated in one of KMGSA's programs.

Mission Statement: To provide young girls in our community with an opportunity to learn & develop softball skills at both the recreational and competitive levels. We are committed to creating an enjoyable experience for all our players, coaches and fans.
We believe our program must help in developing our athletes on the diamond, as well as off through discipline, teamwork and physical well being, all of which will help our girls to become better members of our community.
Objective: To provide, improve and foster the development of softball skills for girls between the ages of 6-19 years of age. To teach and encourage good sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork, citizenship and community spirit through active competition and enjoyment of the game of softball. To offer leadership opportunities to current and past players. To promote the game of softball across our region.

Sponsorship: To be successful, KMGSA requires the support of the local community. Community Sponsorship donations help offset the costs of the programs including equipment, player insurance, field rentals and umpires. As an individual or local business involved with KMGSA, you will benefit by being recognized for your goodwill and support of girls softball. If you would like to become a sponsor please contact KMGSA.
